New Roses for 2009

The latest issue of Weekend Gardener magazine previews new rose releases for 2009.

Have a read so you can start planning your winter rose planting.
This includes ‘Starship’. A free-flowering rose with masses of red blooms with a silver-white reverse. Low to medium growing, it has great disease tolerance making it ideal for many gardens. It is named after Starship Children’s Hospital and a dollar from every rose sold goes to the Starship Foundation.
