This year our Society celebrates our 60th Birthday and we will also stage the 2010 National Spring Rose Show and Convention.

Pruning  Demonstration Saturday 17th July at 1-30pm at Tom & Heather Handy’s home on the Pleasant Point Highway, if wet it will be on Sunday 18th July. Anyone requiring further information can contact our President Maureen Ng 036880640 or the Secretary John Jackson 036892225

Meetings every month.

In April - May - August - September & October we meet at 7-30pm.

June - We have an annual Dinner.

July - We have our Pruning Demonstration.

November - December - January - February & March we meet at 8pm.

During these five months we have table shows.

We meet in the Wilson Street Baptist Hall, Timaru. The formal part of the evening is kept as short as possible, this is followed by a speaker or theme, cultural information, a sales table, raffle, monthly competitions and supper.

We are a group of people of varying ages who meet monthly, all having an interest in Roses that enjoy each others company and sharing information. We would like to encourage members of the public of our region to come along and join us and be part of this group who enjoy Roses.

    The Society has its own pH Tester. 

    Consulting Rosarians prepared to help you with your problems.

    Within the Society there is a vast knowledge about Roses, you will find us all willing to share this.

     Our subscription is $ 25.00 per family. This is one of the lowest subscriptions in New Zealand.
