Growing roses is a labour of love.  Due to variations in our climate, some areas require more work to grow healthy roses.  Roses are also quite addictive and its the strong willed person who doesn't stop at just one rose.  Those that are serious about exhibiting often have several plants of the same variety to ensure good quality roses for show time.

Most of us don't have the time or space to be as enthusiastic, but we are blessed with a relatively rose friendly climate, and can grow roses all over New Zealand.
